Join Us!

We are always happy to welcome new members, although we do expect a  high standard. Anybody interested in joining will be invited to come along to rehearsals for 2 or 3 weeks to see what we are about, how we work and get involved. Then, around the fourth week, they will be asked to audition to become an official member of Backstreet Theatre Company.

This will consist of the 3 disciplines:
1. Acting
2. Singing
3. Dancing

The new candidate will perform all three disciplines in front of the Director, Musical Director and any selected members of the committee or existing members. You will be given an audition pack in advance of your date with song choices, monologues etc. Our minimum age is 16.
